Who Can Use Phentermine |
 |
|
Your doctor should decide if Phentermine is right for you
based on your weight, height, and any health problems you may
have. In combination with a reduced calorie diet, the use of
Phentermine has been shown to produce additional weight loss.
Only those people who are
taking no contradicting medications, have no likely /
foreseeable allergic / medical / surgery considerations,
maintain a normal blood pressure, are not pregnant, are over
18 and under 60, and have a BMI of 27 or more should use
Phentermine. To check your
BMI online, go to our
BMI Calculator page.
Body mass index (BMI) is a measurement based on height and
weight as it relates to body fat, and can be used to determine
how much risk a person has of developing certain health
problems because of his or her weight. As a point of
reference, someone with a BMI of 27 is approximately 20
percent overweight. The higher the BMI, the greater the risk a
person has to develop additional health problems.
Phentermine is NOT recommended for children under age 16. |
